I wouldn’t worry about filling the hole so much. Maybe rig up some kinda crazy pickguard. I mean perhaps you have a rectangular needle meter from some trash equipment or something to shove in there. I should be down in a few weeks I am hoping so I could do al that wiring up quick if you like.

Making my LP Standard into a mock LP Jr with one P90, painting it black, filling in the old neck pickup slot, putting the selector switch in the old neck pickup’s tone spot, wired as a kill switch.
This wouldn’t be too hard to accomplish. I just, you know, need to make some money to get a P90.
