Quite possibly the worst movie MST3K has ever riffed. It’s really difficult to describe how bad it is. To give you a little taste: the conflict isn’t introduced until the 60 minute mark. The conflict is that the dad of one of the young fighter jet pilots wants his son to be a bomber pilot. He…well he kind of tries to convince him to change career paths, and then sort of drops it. And then there’s another scene later where he accepts his son’s choice to be a fighter pilot.
Not to mention all the re-fueling.
I’m going to say though for the most part I find this one quite hard to sit through there is one riff that I absolutely love, during one of the bombing runs, at the 47 minute mark.
“Welcome to the Rainbow Gathering, peace is possible in our life time…ooh!”
Sadly I have been to one such gathering. And they barely can get along with themselves let alone achieve world piece. Ha.
